MADDIE MOON

Born in Venezuela and now based in Spain, Maddie Moon is a faith-based, self-produced singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist inspired by the nostalgic aesthetics of the ’70s and ’80s. Blending Indie Pop, Bedroom Pop and Dream Pop, her music combines ethereal guitars, dreamy synths and intimate storytelling, exploring the complexities of faith, life and human emotion. Her work has received international recognition, including airplay and an interview on BBC Introducing on Merseyside, alongside features in publications such as Indie Rocks MX.Maddie’s musical journey began at age five when she first picked up the guitar, inspired by classic rock bands like Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses. After rediscovering her passion as a teenager, she began writing songs influenced by artists such as Melanie Martinez. Her breakthrough cover of "Play Date" eventually led her toward original music and the release of her debut EP, a place for emotional humans, an intimate exploration of love, depression, friendship and sensitivity.Her first album, Melancholy, marked a new creative chapter. Inspired by the nostalgic sounds of The Cure, Dayglow and The Marías, the album blends shimmering guitars, warm synths and bittersweet melodies into a heartfelt love letter to the past.
